Not wanting to grow up is the underlying theme of these
three childhood adventure books. In each of these books, the character loses
themself in the forest while escaping the reality of growing up.
I created the illusion of depth through layering to show the
challenges of growing up where each element is an obstacle. On the front, the
forest represents the constant, struggling journey of life. On the back, the
single tree symbolizes tackling one challenge at a time.
Thirty-Three Baklava Packaging
Thirty-Three is authentic, Greek, premium baklava. I wanted
to show the quality and richness of the product through the packaging while
keep packaging waste to a minimum. The plastic container is ultra thin to
decrease the breakdown time in landfills. The baklava is handmade with
thirty-three layers of phylo dough to represent the thirty-three years of
Jesus’s life. The goal of this project was to repackage a dollar product to
have the perceived value of five dollars.
Suffice Airlines Branding
Suffice Airlines is exactly what the name states, the lack
of, or bare minimum. Suffice Airlines is designed to compete as a niche airline
company. The idea is to keep costs low by only providing the minimum necessary.
The identity is conceptual from the cut out portions on the Suffice name to the
cropped off logo on the business cards & letterhead. The logo is based off
an abstracted, geometric flight pattern when laid out on a map. The color
palette is meant to standout against competitors.
Why is orange juice perishable? Oh Snap developed the one and only non-perishable orange juice. Enjoy the purest pulp free orange juice without the need to refrigerate.
Venture Apparel Branding
Venture Apparel started as a dream. The idea was to penetrate the male clothing market with a differentiated product that stood out but still blended in. Venture Apparel was influenced by the start of commercial air travel in the 1950's and 1960's. Venture Apparel clothing is designed to be well versed. The ideas is to wear the clothes while sitting for hours in an uncomfortable airplane to the excursion that exists afterwards.
Materialism Social Justice Poster
This poster series was designed for the Shepard Symposium on Social Justice. Our culture is driven by materialism. From birth, we are taught to seek for more. Each poster portrays a different graphic design style through a modern twist.
Going Strong Since WWI
Mac Miller Concert Material
From May 2012 until April 2013 I worked as an in house designer for the University of Wyoming's Student Government (ASUW). I was challenged with creating ASUW as a household name. I first started by recreating what ASUW stood for. This wasn't easy but I transformed them into a students organization that encompassed a wide variety of events. Through the different events I created integrated marketing plans specific to each event My greatest accomplishment was organizing and designing ASUW'S 100th Year Concert Celebration. I was involved from the infantry stage, all the way through to post production. I designed the promotional material for print, social media, radio ads and video recap. This project gave me hands on experience that challenged me from the get go.

Rockhaus is a
contemporary san serif typeface born from the mind of Christopher Toly. Bauhaus,
Futura and Rockwell influenced the creation of this typeface through their
thick weight, perfect curves and square finials. Rockhaus is described as
having a modern Chinese touch. The smooth, supple curves and negative space
reflect the heritage of the typeface Bauhaus. There is a constant width
throughout based off of a mathematical formula.
